  • Comments Thread For: Kubrat Pulev: Fans or No Fans - I'm Ready For Anthony Joshua

Heavyweight contender Kubrat Pulev could care less if a crowd is present, he's ready and willing to fight Anthony Joshua behind closed doors. Joshua is scheduled to defend his IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight titles against Pulev on June 20th in London.

A promoter needs a strike a deal with YouTube ASAP. That’s a untapped market. Live YouTube fights from hotels.

Easy for him to say when he doesn't have any.

He booked the mandatory title fight without having any tv deal in place so he ran the first youtube ppv, he charged £10-£15 depending on how early you booked but broadcast the entire undercard for free.
All of the fighters were complete nobodies so most tuned out well before the main event started, the ticket sales were terrible too with tons of freebies so Hennessey lost so much he essentially had to quit

That's a naive thing to say. He should as well fight without being paid

That seems like bad business development. It has nothing to do with YouTube.
