Comments Thread For: Charles Martin: Wilder Needs To Go Back To Drawing Board To Beat Fury

On July 18th, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder are penciled in to renew acquaintances for the third time at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The date and venue will ultimately depend on the United State's ability to contain the Coronavirus that has caused all combat sports to be canceled or postponed through at least the end of April.

Everything that Martin says is right on the money. Hopefully Wilder will heed his advice.

the LDBC recently did a hundred videos that Charles Martin ''agrees that Fury's gloves were tampered with.'' Yet this article and its title would contradict that...

The only thing Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder needs to beat Tyson Phooey, is a honest competent official that will call foul when Tyson attempts to cheat. Unfortunately, Vegas is running out of good refs. Tony Weeks is awful, Kenny Bayless disappointed, sure he took a point from Tyson, but it came too late. Who else is there? Jay Nady ( HA! ), Russell Mora -- come on!

I think Robert Byrd is very strict, Benjamin Esteves? I'm not sure he still officiates Vegas cards anymore, but these guys will do.

How? Anyone can think that fury cheated it doesn’t mean that it had an outcome on the fight or that wilder cant make any improvements.

Hilarious. Clutching at straws in a vein attempt to justify an absolute annihilation. Wilder’s days as a champion, albeit a champion that ducked everyone bar one live fighter in Fury, are mercifully over.

This should be easy. Just find lighter material for that idiotic costume and ban Dirrell from the event. That's it! Oh, and sack Breland, he's suspect too.

Things must have got bad for Wilder if he has Charles Martin giving him advice.

For the record I disagree with Martin. Sure Wilder should keep improving his boxing skills but he should be going for it against someone like Fury, not holding back like in the last fight and like he did with Ortiz in 2nd fight
