The spring season of Boxeo Telemundo ended on a high note, a good thing considering it's the last boxing telecast to be enjoyed for a while. The March 13 edition-which saw Adrien Curiel outpoint Hugo Verdugo' Guarneros in a 10-round battle of local flyweights live from Doom Sindicato de Trabajadores IMSS (Mexico Institute of Social Security) in Mexico City-averaged 442,000 viewers according to Nielsen Media Research. The figure marked the strongest showing for the series' spring season, also providing a 43% increase from the February 21 season premiere from Miami.
