Eddie Hearn remains hopeful that Billy Joe Saunders will actually fight Canelo Alvarez. Alvarez and Saunders were supposed to fight for Saunders' WBO super middleweight title May 2 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Their fight is supposed to be rescheduled once the coronavirus pandemic ends, but if fights are postponed too long it's possible Alvarez will move on, straight to a third fight against Gennadiy Golovkin.

If i was Canelo and stay away from BJS, he's a southpaw who is a great mover and has the height, reach, and weight advantage, it's really hard for me to envision Canelo beating BJS with some help from the judges, if BJS comes in shape he could win a shut out, this is coming from a die hard Canelo fan

No way does this fight happen in July if Canelo/Golovkin is happening in September, which it looks like it will. Sure, they could push the date back, but I think that fight will definitely have preference, so they'll do what they can to keep that date.

July I kinda doubt. Early June might be plausible, but that seems less & less likely as more realities get changed with this coronavirus sh^t. Suspect Sept. is the earliest we'll see a Canelo fight.
