Carl Frampton has drawn on the recent exploits of modern-day great Roman Gonzalez to inspire him in his bid to become a three-weight world champion. At the end of last month Gonzalez, 32, destroyed the three-year reign of Kal Yafai to take the Brit's WBA super flyweight title in Dallas. Gonzalez topped off a mesmerising performance to knock Yafai out in the ninth round of their fight to become a two-time super flyweight champion adding to his stunning accomplishment as a four-weight world champion.

I didn't know Frampton was going to fight Herring. Yo, Herring has been on a run as of late and is acclimated to the weight division. Frampton pulls this off, that'll be quite impressive. Chocolatito had an inspirational performance. Hopefully Frampton can replicate it. I've always liked his style.
