Thing is a guy can't just 'copy' that easily. Otherwise every wannabe basketball player and football player would just 'copy' and win.
It's not that easy. Wilder is a limited fighter with poor skill and a cherry picking modus operandi- he's been exposed. Hope he gets beat downs from Fury, Whyte and AJ, but he won't get in the ring with the other two BECAUSE HE IS A F*****G FRAUD HYPE JOB.

I'm pretty sure that Shelley Finkel played a huge role in the decision to keep Mark Breland around because he was the who recommended him to Wilder and Jay Deas in the first place.

I just don't like them throwing him back into the jaws of the sharks without the proper preparation or adjustments.

Wilder won't be ready for that trilogy this year because it's too soon. He needs more time to develop into a becoming a more complete fighter and to rest and heal his body.

In addition, he could add a new boxing coach in order to help teach him the basic fundamentals of boxing too. Also, he needs more time to retrospect and reassess the rest of his career.

He has earned enough money to walk away from the sport today for good if he so chooses.

Good, there was no need to get rid of Breland. Wilder's pride was hurt like most people's when their corner throws in the towel, but Breland helped him get to this point. Wilder can add to the team by bringing in another voice, but doesn't need to get rid of anyone.

I’m very glad to see this. Truth be told, I expected as much. Deontay was reacting very emotionally after the fight, and understandably so. He’s a champion and he was handed his first loss. I think Wilder probably did rather die than taste defeat.

                    That's upsetting.

He doesn't need to sack him because of the towel, but because his team hasn't given any skills in ages. Sack the entire team and go with professionals. They won't be your yes men, but they'll get you closest to winning your titles back.

These current clowns will just tell you you had a bad night, you're a warrior, and send you to doom again while collecting their paychecks. Wilder needs a better team and his current ones are maybe neighborhood-level gym material, not world-class professionals.

He had no choice the backlash and people seeing Breland crying outside the dressing room would ruin deontays image worse.
