What makes you think Ortiz is in the 4th-10th bracket? His rise to fame is facing Wilder, whose rise to fame is facing Ortiz.
I agree with his equally deluded fan base. They, like Wilder's delusional self-image projecting statements are part of the excessive backlash, as much is the ridiculous overhype of someone that has been protected as much as Wilder.
Wilder got beat by someone who had been away from boxing for 2½ years, and went life and death with Wallin. Wilder has also been outboxed by pretty much anyone he has faced from Szpilka to Ortiz to Fury. Now he got dominated.
If Wilder proceeds to lose to Usyk, Whyte, Parker, Ruiz, Klitschko, Povetkin, Joshua, and so on and so forth, how would you assess it all? That's right a boxer with a padded record that couldn't cut it with the top boxers.
