I think both made each other bigger
Did Wilder make Fury big Or Did Fury make Wilder big?

They made each other. Both have 0s after their names, both have a personality, and some sort of a following. And of course, they're heavies from different countries. They make each other much bigger. Their fight is actually getting some mainstream promotion which is HUGE. The fight is on Yahoo news, CBS, made it during Superbowl commercials, etc. I think it's the best promoted fight since May-Pac. Floyd-Conor wasn't promoted as well, but then of course, it didn't have to be.Comment

It's simple. Look at the numbers from the 1st Fury v Wilder PPV and then look at Ortiz v Wilder 2 PPV.
IF Wilder was the star here his numbers should be nearly as good for the Ortiz rematch but they wernt nearly as good, truth is it sort of bombed.
I know wilder supposedly got 20 million for that and ortiz supposed got 7, maybe they did but the truth is the whole event did not bring in 27 million.Comment

They both helped each other a lot, IMHO Fury was going to be used by Team Wilder, to validate them avoiding Joshua. They figured they would dig out Fury when he wasn’t ready, beat him and go on a campaign to force the Joshua fight on showtime etc
That cherrypick nearly went wrong because Fury flipped the script on them, since that fight I believe Fury has gotten more serious about boxing and got the ESPN deal to show for it. They have also worked together to minimise Joshua’s stronghold of the HW division.
The only thing they cannot move Joshua off still is the money aspect. Joshua still hold the cards there, they would need to double their efforts and try to make him irrelevant if they are not willing to fight him.Comment

Both. And people forget how much "to this day" made Wilder bigger during the lead up to the firstComment
