Fury isn't at his best. He might be just about as good shape he can be right now in time given circumstances, but Fury hasn't reached the potential that was there if he was dedicated. He is like Mike Tyson before him. But might still be too good for wilder

Everyone has been telling me Wilder-Fury are in their prime. Does Tyson still need three more tune-ups? Tyson did pretty good the first time, if you ask me -- but I'm no 'Expert'.

This is the best Fury we can get now, and that "best Fury" struggled with Otto Wallin and looked pretty bad against Pianeta.

Fury hasn't beaten a top 40 opponent in his comeback

So again, it's the "best Fury" we can get now, but he is certainly not in his prime anymore.

I think thats fair enough. Fury might have been out for a while with the weight gain etc but at this point hes been back long enough to get into shape and shake off the ring rust, and hes still only 31.

On the other hand though, if Wilder gets sparked out either by Fury or someone else in the next year or two I fully expect the "he was out of his prime" excuse to be made. Hes at an age now where that can absolutely be used to downplay any losses he faces. We'll be hearing how the version of Wilder that killed Audley Harrison would have beaten everyone.

Wilder at 34 may well be entering the twilight of his prime but his body is in a lot better condition than 31 year old Fury as he's not had a 3 year obesity ******* binge

FACT : Tyson has not beaten anyone decent since 2015

His best win in 5 years is Otto Wallin.



That being said, it would still be a good win and Wilder's best win.

Fury proved himself still being a solid fighter by going 12 with WIlder and arguably beating him.
