Rivas should have won vs Whyte. He's very good, just a bit small, with low reach. Pity.

None of that stopped him from winning. He was just fighting a cheater with an advantage. Hopefully he knows to never go to the UK again!

I am wondering now if anyone commenting has watched Rivas fight. Despite a decent amatuer career, he fights like a scared HW. He has little head movement, flat feet, and does not have a plan B. Despite the absurd Whyte match he has failed to impress against weak opposition. Do not be fooled by the KO ratio or hype. He has as good a chance as Charles Martin of getting a belt, so maybe, just maybe.

Hope this man gets ****** money. He was jobbed by the disgraceful 2x PED cheat Whyte. Hearn and his corrupt payoffs to on-the-take BBBoC and UKAD. And judges with a hometown decision. Cowardly Whyte doesn’t have the gonad to face this man without being juiced to the gills.

Why has Rivas been out for so long? Got to worry why he didn;t get straight back in there

If I was Whyte I'd be avoiding Rivas too. Nothing for him to gain by winning that fight, everything to lose

Whyte beat Rivas comfortably but Top Rank have signed a danger fighter who AJ , Fury and Wilder have all turned down the opportunity to fight Rivas

Whyte didnt look that comfortable when Rivas dropped him like the sack of cheating garbage he is.

Agree, Rivas is average at best. and 6 inches too short to be competitive with any top 10 heavy weight.

Whyte always fights the weakest opponents he can get away with. Remember he had signed contract to fight AJ for 3 world titles, and offers to rematch Parker. but chose Rivas instead.

I scored it 114-113 Whyte and thought 115-112 was about as wide as it could get.
