Smart move as Warren is losing guys it seems ,I Believe DDD can be a money generator even without a belt but he’s a solid fighter ,not sure if he wins his next one but he can potentially surpass Joyce in the future if that is the next route ,it’s business and he’s a great fighter to have sealed for BT.

Smart moving by Warren to move quickly to lock him down

I think he has something SPECIAL with Dubois but of course the work is not done he has to take care of business in the ring and continue to get better. Joyce is a good test for him for sure, still kinda surprise they're doing this fight this early and for no titles or anything

If ddd beats jj, he can potentially be a contender.

Is there anyone in the world besides Warren who thinks this is actually a good idea for DDD? Signing a 5 year deal with a long standing company that hasn't turned a profit for 2-3 years?

I don't think it's a good idea for DD to be signing with Frank Warren at this stage - as Warren is a promotional sinking ship.

He's a dinosaur with a small stable who's probably more concerned with increasing his personal capital than the careers of his fighters.

Dubois is not yet ready for the likes of Joyce.

I'm not saying he can't beat him, but he's still a prospect with a lot of flaws to iron out.

He isn't ready to step up to this level yet - and if I were training him, he'd be fighting once every 3 months for the next two years before I'd consider a fight of this magnitude.

There is far too much pressure on Dubois for this fight, whereas Joyce is 34, has reached the end of his peak and it doesn't really hurt his carer if he loses in comparison to Dubois.

Dubois would have been wiser to sign with Eddie Hearn.
