    No matter what comes of 2020, Claressa Shields certainly doesn't want a repeat of the year that was. The two-time Olympic Gold medalist and three-division title claimant from Flint, Michigan started off 2019 right with her 10-round thrashing of Christina Hammer to become undisputed World middleweight champion. The rest of the year was one to forget, although her twice-postponed clash with Ivana Habazin helped launch a 2020 campaign that she believes will be her biggest yet.

      Showtime can't wait to get out of their awful contract with Shields.

        All dam haters kill me;

        I can’t understand why people won’t get behind a two time gold medal winner and the fastest 3 division champion ever! Oh did I say EVER, it’s not her fought because woman’s boxing hasn’t evolved and hell Showtime should be paying her more, she’s doing them a favor. So stop hating and embrace or don’t watch MF’s.

          awesome. I heard Desley Robinson called her out recently. Would be another top level scalp for Shields.
          Robinson currently is the #5 female middleweight in the whole world (according to boxrec) and got this ranking after only 2 fights.

          First she beat Leah Plumpton, a bonafide HOF, who went into the fight with an unbeaten record (0-0-0). After that she beat Trish Vaka, not as good as plumpton, but still a respectable 1-5-0 record.
