I think his humbling 1st fight will have set him on the right track and hopefully he gets proper training. I'm pulling for him to prove people wrong by focusing on whatever it takes to improve his Pro skills and be successful. I liked him from the Olympics and really hope he does well.

Did Top Rank drop him from their roster already?

Boxeo Telemundo? Damn it's almost as if Top Rank demoted Robeisy Ramirez. No disrespect, but he won't get the exposure he needs on Telemundo given the air time and on top of that the attendance has been minimal with these Telemundo fights.

I had high hopes for Ramirez as a pro, but I don’t like what I’ve seen so far. Maybe he’ll right the ship, as Ugas did. It would be a shame if that talent goes to waste.

Not from what I've seen. Probably just got the kid a local stay busy fight. It's short notice and in Miami.

As Rexy said - short notice fight. Top Rank may have him on a low burner for now but all it takes is for Ramirez to have some sharp performances and he can be in the limelight. I think he will. He has a great back story (not everything came easy for him) and if he uses that as motivation, he can succeed. Ugas is the perfect example. If Ugas had stopped after a couple losses, he would not be where he is and wondered what could have been. Ugas turned it into what is, instead of what could have been.
