Comments Thread For: Fury: Andy Ruiz Should Train With Me If He Wants Titles Back

Tyson Fury knows all about the trappings of success. Soon after shocking Wladimir Klitschko for the heavyweight titles in 2015, the British boxer's life took a disastrous turn as he started abusing alcohol, ******* and ballooned to 400 pounds as he battled depression.

Maybe Fury and Ruiz can make love to boxing together..... spit-roast boxing.

Andy Ruiz has the same problem David Tua has, not being able to stay disciplined with eating habits. He is literally eating his career away. Until he comes to grips with his eating problem he won’t improve his situation. He needs to get down to 220-230 and maximise his speed and skills

Extremely disappointed in Ruiz. Why fire Manny? Every deficiency on display in that AJ rematch was of his own making... I think he's making a big mistake. But I guess if anyone can get him into shape mentally more than physically is Fury..

He’s not mentally strong enough to be a champion ..... short sighted to say the least

Ruiz is so rich I doubt he cares about training. Tacos, burritos and guacamole. Buster Douglas post Holyfield he is doing

Tyson and Andy have much in common, both held the IBF-WBA-WBO world titles in boxing. But Fury and Ruiz are also cross over athletes, the two are P4P binge-eaters.

When UKAD banned Tyson three years ago, he pursued his true passion in gorging. Phooey competed along with the worlds greatest coach-potatoes during his exile from boxing and remarkably won several disreputable titles, among these are : the 2015 Wild-Boar Kebab championship, the 2016 worlds Fudge Pie-eating championship, the 2017 Porky-Farms Bacon eating championships, and Tyson's favorite ; The 2018 12' inch Weenie hot-dog championship.

I have no doubt in my mind that with Tyson as Andy's trainer, Ruiz will take the 2020 Snicker-bar eating contest world title home!

It wasn't the weight with Tua, he just fought gret fighters. Ruiz is not at Tua's level, regardless of the weight. Tua would walk right through Ruiz for 5th round KO.
