Comments Thread For: Joe Joyce May Have Warm-Up Bout Before Dubois Bout in April

Joe Joyce might have a warm-up fight before facing Daniel Dubois in a clash of unbeaten British heavyweights in April. Joyce, the Olympic super-heavyweight silver medallist, has been out of action since July. He had been due to face Marco Huck for the vacant European heavyweight title in Hanover, Germany, this month, only for the former WBO cruiserweight champion to withdraw with a hand injury.

How many warm up fights can he have ?? He should fight someone half decent before Dubois. No need to regress . I hope they announced someone who isnt a complete can .

I know he won the silver medal and is much better than I could ever be in a really hard sport.

Still It looks like he is throwing punches underwater, or like I do when use my excerise stretch bands.

Am going with DDD with or without Joyce warm up fight. Joyce is too slow, too hittable and just a bit too robotic for DDD.

I'm not totally convinced that Dubois can KO Joyce, but if he can fight the 12 rounds then I think he'll win a competitive decision. Joyce needs a big fight so I hope this happens.
