Bob Arum, the head of the Top Rank, is very close to signing 2016 Olympic gold medal winner, Tony Yoka of France, to a promotional agreement. Arum is currently in Paris and told RMC Sport that he's nearing an agreement to bring Yoka on board with his company. Yoka (7-0, 6 KOs), who beat Joe Joyce in the Olympic games to claim gold, turned pro in 2017 and signed on with Richard Schaefer's Ringstar Sports. All of Yoka's fights have taken place in France.

Tony Yoka vs. Anthony Joshua, Olek Usyk, all three gold-medalist fighting at the same time is very interesting.

Another mystery in the Division ,can’t see him being champ though . Will be interesting if he gets by guys like Ajagba and Bakole who will be dangerous guys with one punch away from winning any fight ,so many power punchers now it’s crazy .

I remember when there was maybe 5 top guys at a time now we have an entire roster who can punch now you have Wilder , AJ, DDD, Morrison, Sirenko, Whyte , Breazeale , Conto, Makhmudov , Adeleye , Joyce , Yoka , Bakole , Ajagba , Rock , Povetkin , Ortiz , Martin , Kownacki , Hrgovic ,that’s nearly 20 guys with a power punch capability of one shot ending power at least if they land right known to put guys to sleep or scramble their brains where the fight is stopped .

James Prince doesn't get as much hype as other managers/advisers but he has a great eye for talent and has made great signings recently. Lewkowicz has nothing on this man.

So what's going on with Richard Schaeffer? Tony Yoka is leaving him for Top Rank and his two other top fighters recently lost in Balderas and Donaire..
Seems like Richard is on his way out of boxing ......
I guess Karma is biting him in the ass. He should of never done Oscar dirty. I guess now we see who really needed who....

Yoka is good, one of the best prospects out there. The issue is that he didn't want to fight outside France!

I'd like to see him vs Dubois, Ajagba and, if hw gets past them, vs Ruiz, Usyk, AJ and Fury/Wilder.

Arum keeps signing these guys with no connection to the US fans then complains he can't sell tickets in the US

Have to give it to Top Rank’s scouts. They are always mining for Olympic Gold medalist. Yoka will be a nice edition to an energized heavyweight scene. Hope this kid looks the goods on the Pro level.
