So Canelo dropped the belt before negotiating, just in case Golovkin asked for 45% of the purse? even though they didn't even meet to negotiate? and he claimed he was moving down because he was actually a junior middleweight? Even though Gomez said in 2017 that Canelo wasn't ready for Golovkin in 2016?

Most rounds GGG won, I would say he outlanded Canelo by 4 or so punches....when you are outlanding a guy 12-8 or 14-10, that is a pretty big margin...both guys were landing power-wise about as good as the other...GGG has a really good jab which is easy to score and scores a lot...in that scenario, a guy outlanding the other like 10-6 or 12-8 will almost always take that round.

I think fight one I have rd 1 - edge to GGG, 2 edge to Canelo, 3 - clearest so far to GGG; 4-6 - always have 2 of those to GGG - always have it 4-2 though 6...7 8 9 always score for GGG...10 and 11 were close, usually split them...12 is close and I usually shade it to Canelo, but it was over by that point anyway. 8-4.

Fight 2 - rounds 1-3 were again very close...could see 2-1 either way here...4 and 5 were clear for GGG...6 is close, usually shade it to whoever I have down 2-1 after 3...so 4-2 GGG...punch stats more or less back up that score.

7 and 8 were close...I split them...9 10 11 clear for GGG...12 usually shade to Canelo but again it was over by that point on my card.

In those 24 rounds, there isn't 1 clear round I can point to and say - this is a clear Canelo round...and that is because he doesn't have really one round in those 24 where he outlands GGG by a decent margin, and lands the best shot or shots of the round...GGG has four or five rounds like that in each fight.

saunders did duck. that was his biggest pay day by far and he didn't take the fight. there is even video of him saying i wont fight ggg if i beat lee. the way you frame things is very strange. he was only offered as much as lemiuex! lemiuex was more popular than saunders so that kind of proves it was a good deal. lemiuex had been on american networks many times and drew solid crowds. saunders was actually the b-side in his uk fights against eubank and lee. context is key. is 1.5 million not life changing? i know inflation is up but wow you are rolling.
