Comments Thread For: Mayweather CEO Embraces Conor McGregor's Talk of Rematch

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, suggested Floyd Mayweather would be up for fighting Conor McGregor again after the Irishman declared he would win a rematch. Mayweather stopped McGregor in the 10th round when the UFC superstar made his professional boxing debut in August 2017. Their pay-per-view bout generated over 4 million buys.

Mayweather should tell him, you had your chance, if I come back it will be for Terence Crawford ONLY.

If floyd came back to fight crawford that would be dope . But I dont see him working with bob on a tough fight like that at this point in his career

The crazy part is people would pay. Mcgregor is better off fighting Pac who is very hittable and would be at a massive size disadvantage. Mayweather will just use turtle shell style again.

We can’t get two fughin boxers to fight each other but let’s make these crossover fights , which mean fugh all
But of course , every single casual and some so-called boxing fans will be drooling all over this chit
And yes , it’s all about money money money

The crazy part is that you actually posted this silly comment. Pacquiao would beat Mcgregor silly, similar to how he did Hatton. Pacquiao is not a defensive minded fighter like Mayweather but even so Mcgregor wouldn’t land anything meaningful on him cause Pacquiao is in and out when he attacks. He has no chance against Pacquiao and is in far more danger of getting seriously hurt.

Pac is 40 and took massive shots to the head vs Thurman. When he was prime he took massive shots from Margarito and vowed to not fight at 154 ever again. Why do you think that is?

Are trying to say that at 154 Mcgregor would have a chance ??? That’s the biggest “LOL” !! Don’t compare Thurman or Margarito to that novice. Mcgregor could request this fight at 175 and he would still catch a beating. He looked like a kid on his 3rd day at the boxing gym when he fought Mayweather, not to mention his pillow hands.
