Comments Thread For: Teixeira, Castano Extend Talks For Mandatory Title Fight

The recent massive earthquake which struck Puerto Rico earlier this week has left many on the island without power and water. In an odd way, it also leaves Patrick Teixeira and Brian Castao with a few more days than expected to come to terms for their ordered title fight. The pair of junior middleweights and their respective teams have spent the better part of the past 30 days negotiating for a World Boxing Organization (WBO) ordered title fight. The bout was ordered last December during the annual WBO convention, where Brazil's Teixera (31-1, 22KOs) was upgraded from interim to full 154-pound titlist after previous champ Jaime Munguia vacated in favor of a run in the middleweight division.

He's going to pass on the chance to have control of all the belts at 154?

He doesnt work well with others since he only likes in house fights. Also he doesnt even recognize the wbo so it'll be interesting if he shows interest

Joshua vs. Ruiz x 2 on DAZN. GGG vs. Derevyanchenko on DAZN. That's just in 2019 alone.

He only let ruiz fight aj cause it would make aj look bad for beating a fat guy but ruiz pulled the upset. He also stopped ortiz from fighting aj.
Chenko's promoter Lou is the one who made the fight. Also it was for a belt so haymon would of just looked ****** if he had not let him fight ggg for it.

Dibella has done plenty of fights for PBC, so that's nothing new! Ortiz was lined up for Wilder, but Haymon didn't stop Ruiz and Dervy. That's 2 Haymon fighters who fought on 3 DAZN main events in 2019. Now you tell me, how many DAZN fighters fought on PBC main events in 2019? I'll wait!

Lmfao thats bs. Ortiz was not lined up for a wilder rematch until haymon turned down the aj offer. Why do you think he got paid so much for the fight? Ortiz himself even said his team turned it down as he wasnt aware of the offer.
Lou is a puppet promoter but chenko is actually a fighter he promotes.
Geez your really thick skulled arent you? Dazn fighters are bound to dazn. They have an exclusive contract to dazn. Pbc fighters do not. Which is hilarious considering they have in house fights and refuse to work with anyone else yet they have the most freedom to fight any network on any promotion
