Comments Thread For: Amir Khan To Review Options For 2020, Wants Big Fights

Former world champion Amir Khan is looking ahead to bigger things in the new year. Khan (34-5, 21 KOs) had a mixed year in 2019. He started off the year with a welterweight title fight, against WBO world champion Terence Crawford at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Khan went down in the first round and was stopped after six, when the Bolton boxer was unable to continue after a low blow.

... “I can go to America, or go back to Saudi Arabia and do a fight there or I do a big fight in the UK.”

... he would go back to Saudi Arabia, but after AJ vs Ruiz it would be difficult to fool them a second time...

Khan does not deserve any big fights until he can do it like everybody else and work his way to a big fight.
I'm sick of seeing this dude get easy passes just because he used to be slightly above average and he can move the needle.

Khan wants PPV money from sky and Dazn money. The fight left out there for him is brook a fight 10 years too late

******s have sports idols too... He's got some 2.2M followers on Twitter... but Mo Salah (from Liverpool FC) has 11M followers...

(Later edit: meanwhile, Wilder has only 616.8K followers...)
