Hauser repeats that DAZN had the best boxing content all year using examples like the WBSS (a good one), Canelo's 2 fights (neither really entertaining), Joshua Ruiz (nothing spectacular, but the upset made it worthwhile) and, I kid you not, "KSI vs. Logan Paul was a bonus.". Compared to Hurd-Williams, Kowanacki-Arreola, Jack vs Pascal, Spence v Porter, Harrison vs Charlo, Pacquioa-Thurman, and the Wilder's meme creating KO's, I'm not seeing it. Hell Rigo's last fight was more entertaining than most of dazns. -

SEC on CBS’ Coming to End, Likely Moving to ESPN/ABC
Ask fans outside the Southeastern Conference, and you'll hear the same sentiments about the SEC football brand. Yes, the league is dominant, but many in Big Ten country, Pac-12 country and beyond believe other conferences are unfairly overlooked, especially because Disney-owned ESPN has exclusive rights to air the College Football Playoff, which runs through the […]
Those are the two major rights deals up for grabs. They might get a lower tier college football package that they'll overpay for and the price of DAZN will rise to $250 a yearLeave a comment:

Jacobs vs Chavez card was $10 million dollars. The Mikey vs Vargas card is going to be another $10 mil or more card. That's a good card but it's not a $10 mil card. More like $3 mil card.
Sure they've put on good cards but they can't continue to pay what they're paying per card and survive. So there are two options. Continue paying what they're paying and fail. Pay reasonable market rates and have ****tier cards.Leave a comment:

The Bottom Line
Given the unrelenting pace of technological change, streaming information in the form of entertainment, science or anything else that matters is the future. Cable and other landlines are on their way out like the cassette and 8 track tape player of yesteryear. But that does not mean that DAZN itself has much of a future in its present form.
The current DAZN particular business model, at least as it pertains to boxing, it deeply flawed. Couple that with bone head moves by folks running DAZN's programming and you have serious problems. They need to bring in boxing savvy and technological savvy folks to run it. I hope DAZN can get their act together, but I have canceled my subscription and will not renew until they replace the current Keystone Kops with a better management team or if these folks improve significantly.Leave a comment:

Dazn do seem to have so much money, but it's hard to see where their profit will come from. They are losing millions by overpaying fighters and very few interesting fights happening. The bottomless pit of money is actually not so.Leave a comment:

Hauser has it right , no question, Hearn maybe getting richer but all that travelling and stress of keeping people happy and not sleeping at night knowing he's had to shaft some honourable people to move forward must have a payback somewhere .. someone amongst all these greedy people will lose their shirt for sure ..Leave a comment:

Wow! When I look at fights or fighters I want to see the last thing I do is say I’m boycotting pbc, ESPN, or DAZN because I don’t like the promoters.
I give two shts about the promoters. If it’s a fight I want to watch I’m gonna go to it or watch it somewhere.
I like boxers from ALL three of them.
I support the BOXERS ONLYLeave a comment:

This Hauser guy is a joke. Countless "sources".
DAZN is doing fine. It takes time to transform a landscape. When DAZN first launched people literally didnt know what it was or how to use it. Fast forward a few years and DAZN is basically a household name although clearly not on par with ESPN. A major difference between ESPN and DAZN is that DAZN is GLOBAL while ESPN is primarily national.
DAZN is going to continue to grow and invade. Great platformLeave a comment:
