90% boxing? In Canada you get all nfl, mlb, epl, uefa champions league on dazn...also belator mma, tennis, cricket, darts and a bunch of other crap. Almost everyone I know who subscribed, did so for football. You get nfl game pass, red zone and Sunday ticket.

Here are my customer complaints as a BOXING FAN.

-No fighter buildup, no fight buildup. They have Paul vs Gibs on their youtube channel...where are the actual boxers you are trying to build up? How is this good for boxing..

    -Poor social media content

-Mid tier guys like Haney, BJS, Smith, Andrade, Farmer have received 0 quality content on the DAZN USA social media and youtube. I want to take a look into Andrade's training camp and see how is is training, what he is going through. How come every other platform can provide this for their mid-tier guys..but DAZN can't?

-As a boxing fan I hate that their careers decline on DAZN and they become unknown, that is a problem that needs to be fixed ASAP. This is not good for the sport of boxing, and does not translate into growth....

-DAZN's broadcast is improving, and is much better than what it was in October of 2018...but it still has a lot of room to improve in order to be as quality as FOX, Showtime or ESPN. It still has a "cheap" feel to it, almost there....but not quite. There are many amateur moments with their production/camera angles etc...yet I will give this a pass as they are still somewhat new.

    This is constructive criticism
Don’t forget DAZN flat out refusing a Andrade/Canelo fight then asking Canelo take $5 million less to offset paying Andrade soo much. Yes Dan Rafael twitter’ed that a while back.

DAZN getting FLEECED by Jacobs (still has 1 fight at $10,000,000++), M. Garcia ($7mill), Kovalov (1 fight left around $10 mil), Vargas ($3 mil+), GGG (3 fights $50,000,000) and not including over paying others to fight him.

Everyone wanting at least $10 million++ to fight Canelo.

How can anyone afford to make these mistakes??? And stay in business long?

Sure they've put on good cards but they can't continue to pay what they're paying per card and survive. So there are two options. Continue paying what they're paying and fail. Pay reasonable market rates and have ****tier cards.
Don’t forget how they wayyyyy over paid GGG to get fights with Rolls, Sergiy, and now Szermeta. Who gives a 35/36 year old a $100,000,0000 6 fight deal???

There goes $50,000,000 on those three fights. That shouldn’t be more than $21,000,000! If even that.

Not to hate on TH, because he is a great writer, but this article is hallow, it seems like he does not have reliable sources within DAZN that can leak numbers and viewership, that is just based on part 1, he makes generalizations, and conclusions, but does not offer data to back it up, such as saying AJ/Ruiz 2 drove subscriptions, but not providing readers any actual numbers to prove that, or even saying DAZN has provided the best boxing content in 2019, the numbers do not support that yet Hauser represents it.

    Hopefully part 2 is better

there is no way to justify 10 mil for Danny Jacobs. My guess is that they invest in no other fighters than Canelo and Joshua going forward.

We are at a turn of a new century where the best boxing promoter is British running business on American soil. Of course Hauser and others would feel defensive of the old defacto shifting differently. The truth is if Matchroom USA continues to do well and establish itself as brand that new gen American boxers might want to go to, and DAZN is accelerating.

Blame the LDBC and PBc shills for this effect. The karma came back to bite.
i am an American and I have DAZN and like it. I plan to keep it if they don’t jack up the price too much more. It’s cool 😎 I got it because I like boxing. I have espn + and I watch pbc on fox and I have showtime. I had no idea that DAZN was in the process of storming the USA coast and conquering us. Who knew? And the whole reason for the brutal conquest was to destroy some medium sized US minority owned business and keep black people and other ********** from talking on the internet
. Who knew? I thought they just wanted us to watch boxing on an app and pay for it. Damn ****** me
