Constantly repeating this stuff has shifted fans from caring about how good a fighter is and who he’s beat, to how much money he makes and what kind of numbers he does fighting showcase fights and lacklustre opposition. Just look at this board...it’s all people want to talk about when it comes to tank. You rarely see anyone saying “tank will beat this guy” or “tank will beat that guy”...now it’s “why should tank fight that guy”, “he’s a cash cow” etc.

I couldn't agree more. Their whole show is stepping further and further away from the essence of boxing.

davis just turned 25 in november...hes selling seats....yes floyd and ellerbe are exaggerating to a degree...they may be trying to make you believe hes a superstar....you dont have to believe hes some superstar like canelo or floyd...of course he isnt...but hes ahead of the curve...when did floyd do his first ppv and how much did it sell?
