Former WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn plans to take a few weeks off to recover from the tough rematch win over middleweight contender Michael Zerafa. Horn's promoter, Dean Lonergan, wants the boxer to begin training for another big fight. The obvious big option in 2020 is undefeated rising star Tim Tszyu, son of Hall of Famer and former unified champion Kostya Tszyu.

Lonergan is now getting real about Horn fighting at light middle and I agree that Tszyu2 will get beaten by Horn if they fight this year. Horn has endured world class fights while Tim is yet to get out of his home comfort zone, Tim, stop believing your own publicity.

Just for the record, Tszyu was 'undisputed' champion at 140 not 'unified' as the story incorrectly states.

Horn and his people are in the running for current boxers with the most hot air blabbering, and WAY more interview time than their record deserves them to get. Tszyu may not be full scale contender quite yet, but I'd give him excellent odds to shut down Horn. He has good power, good solid skills... and meanwhile Horn's only notoriety is getting a gift decision vs Manny. He's just average at best IMO. Sorry... just can't take the guy seriously.

Horn's style depends on his toughness and dedication, when that all comes together then he is world class. Which is something that a lot of fans don't seem to understand. On the other hand Tszyu2 has a more conventional style but he has yet to prove himself when the going gets tough. Horn is a big step up for him.
