Roy tested positive for steroids for his fight with Richard Hall, but it was buried, mostly because of the IBF and politics, and also because Hall tested positive as well (LOL), or else it MIGHT have been a NC. Probably not, though, considering it was an underpowered athletic commission who was handling it, with the IBF involved, and a bigname cash cow at the time (ie. millions of dollars in sanctioning fees).

If you look at the progression and digression of Roy's body and muscle mass, there's little doubt that he used steroids. Roy claimed afterwards that the test was positive because he was drinking Rippped Fuel, if I remember right.

Also if anyone noticed how Vargas lost his power without steroids, Vargas can't punch for **** anymore and he's only 28.

So did Roy use steroids his whole career?

please thats because tarver knew he was going to lose, i knew he was going to lose and so did every other friggan fight fan out there. You actually think he was going to beat B-hop? WRONG! Plus Tarver couldnt use any excuses because before the fight even took place he was like even if I lose which I wont it has nothing to do with weight. Do you not remember everyone asking him well do you think weights going to effect you? and every time he said no this no that so by the time he lost he knew he couldnt use the excuse because he told everyone it wasnt going to make a difference.

Roy Jones did not win that first fight legit are you kidding me? If you would have watched it you would have known he lost on points or it was a draw. I understand a win is a win whether you won fair and square or not as long as you win thats all that matters, I saw the fight...(He's one of my favorite all time fighters just to let you know)and he lost, then came back got Knocked the **** out 2 times in a row then lost again after all he did was play dance around the ring and showboat his depleted skills in the 3rd Tarver fight.

Highly doubt Jones was on Roids maybe suppliments but not roids.

Roy's career was built and destroyed on his excessive steroid intake.
I got a magazine talking all about it. I'll try to scan it at school asap.

vargas is a completely different story guys, he was in more battles than jones ever was due to his fight style, you lose that part of you that fighting instinct and dont maintain all the traits you once had, your not the same fighter and he wasnt the same fighter after he got ko'd against Trinidad sure he had some impressive knockouts but those can come from anyone at anytime it's just a matter of luck not power. Same thing with Jones accept age is against him not being battled scarred like Vargas.

How come boxing experts don't talk about it? When people talk about Roy's career I never hear that.

thats what I heard as well. And people can talk and talk and talk all they want about this that and the other thing proof be proof guys and there is none so no matter how many boxing analysts talk about it and magazines it's the same thing as Bonds (even though you can see he's taking them and definately know he is) you cant prove it so get off it.

I think Shane's difficulties are similar though and they both allegedly used the same designer steroids. Shane looked lethargic in the 2nd fight with DLH and he looked awful against Winky. After a year he looked better against Winky but still a little slow and weak. Then he looked average against Estrada and Cruz (or whatever his name was). He didn't even look really good in the 1st Vargas fight and in the 2nd fight it was hard to tell if that was Shane looking good or Vargas being totally shot.
