The unbeaten junior bantamweight titlist is currently in talks for a voluntary title defense versus former four-division champ Roman Chocolatito' Gonzalez. Should the two sides comes to terms, the bout will take place February 29 in supporting capacity to a welterweight crossroads bout between Mikey Garcia and Jessie Vargas, live on DAZN from The Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas.

Would be an excellent card and would start the year off right for DAZN who had a strong start this year too!

I think Yafai should win as he looks the type to fight down to his competition while Chocolatito is past his prime and not active an likely is on the verge of retirement!

It’s a good fight regardless since Chocolatito always brings it and we could see Yafai upping his game or getting ran over!
