Comments Thread For: Gamboa: I Knew By Beating Martinez, Next Step Would Be Gervonta

The fight he gets this weekend is the one Yuriorkis Gamboa wanted all along, but was more than happy to earn his way into that position. Davis and his team parlayed a sanctioning body-ordered fight with Ricardo Nuez into a homecoming showcase, bringing championship boxing back to his Baltimore hometown.

When Tank Davis fights a Lomachenko, Devin Haney, Teofimo Lopez or Ryan Garcia then I'll watch. Until then he can spare me with the s hit mismatches.
