Comments Thread For: Fury To Appear on ESPN College Gameday To Promote Wilder PPV

It's bowl season for the biggest fight on the current boxing schedule. Eyebrows have been raised over the timing of the announcement for the anticipated heavyweight title fight rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury. The pair of unbeaten giants will collide February 22 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, which will be presented as a joint pay-per-view venture between ESPN+ and Fox Sports.

Is this more evidence that Fury wants to duck Wilder? Lol where are those clowns hiding?

Doesn't really matter what goes on in the build up because we'll all be watching. Not a single fight fan will be skipping this one. Just hope it has the tension and excitement of the first one.

We'll see, Fury must remain focused and he'll have a serious chance.

Will be a good idea to have a press conference.

They promoted Wilder-Ortiz 2 during the NFL and that was a huge flop. I think the impact of promoting fights during football games is not that significant. This fight sells itself and will do very well at the box office but I don't think it'll get more buys than if it was on HBO or Showtime when those networks were in their prime.
