Comments Thread For: Eleider Alvarez is Hoping Seals Clash Becomes WBO Eliminator

Last week, Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez vacated his WBO light heavyweight championship. He captured the title last month, when he moved up by two weight classes to score a knockout of Sergey Kovalev to capture belt at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Depends on which Alvarez shows up. He can stick and move, but then what happens when Seals lands one of his bombs? The only time I saw Seals fight was vs Rodriguez back in '15, and he's definitely one of the top 5 punchers at LHW. Should be an interesting matchup.

Sorry brother but I hope this was a fughin joke
Yeah the guy can **** but against who
Who shouldn’t he have ko’d since fighting Edwin
      Wtv
Anyways Alvarez will go back to what got him here
Alvarez has a granite chin and can **** , not one punch power but very capable of breaking down a boxer and then getting a ko
That’s what lead to his loss , the fact that he was overconfident that the minute he touched Kovi it would be over
Wasn’t the case and Kovi fought the fight of his life
He’ll be right back in the mix , there’s reasons why he’s been avoided the way he’s been

By the way , you say depending on which Alvarez shows up , why what other fight didn’t he show up for

So you like Motorhead, eh? One of my favorites of theirs is "Nightmare The Dream Time" from 1916 I believe. Which could easily be the theme song any time your boi gets in there with a ****er like Seals. It could happen. Alvarez is no genius in the ring. I've watched several of his fights and have seen plenty of defensive liabilities. Never said Seals WOULD drop him, but it could happen. Cheers.

Anything Motörhead gets my blood boiling
But one thing that blows me away is anytime they remake a song , Louie Louie , just blows me away
          Even the Stones remake wow
Just got on your case cause your saying Seals is a top hitter in the light heavyweight division
Yes probably against the opposition he’s head , where the losses are almost as much as the wins
This will be a fight to shake off some ring rust before getting right back into the mix
You say Alvarez is a pretty normal fighter , then explain why he has been a very avoided fighter

                Really ?
I thought Alvarez hit him with the bigger shots and hurt a few times
Chilemba is one tricky fighter or should I say he was
Alvarez is a very sound boxer , he just got swept away in the moment against Kovi imo
Had he boxed like he usually does , the win was there for the taking instead got swept away thinking that he could ko him again

Yes indeed. I was 10 feet from the ring, crowd going insane.
And yes, this should be a solid fight.

Lara and Alvarez (and other slick boxers) are always avoided. I'm looking forward to this one. I think it will be very interesting, and not one-sided. We'll see.
