  • Comments Thread For: Daniel Dubois vs. Joe Joyce in Play For 2020, Says Frank Warren

An all-British heavyweight clash between Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce could be made for the first half of next year after Dubois blew away Kyotaro Fujimoto in two rounds at the Copper Box in London. Dubois flattened the Japanese fighter with a huge right hand, referee Victor Loughlin not even bothering to count, having knocked him down earlier in the round with a left jab.

Dubois is a world class talent but this might ruin his career. Joe Joyce will hurt this kid at this stage of his career, badly.

Whyte would only take the fight on condition he is allowed to juice, and Dubois signs a slave contract with Matchroom. Cheater is all talk. Look no further than his cowardice in facing Ortiz in a final eliminator. And turning down life changing money - and oh yeah, a shot at the heavyweight championship- last June vs Joshua

I highly doubt it, Joyce has zero defence. Joyce will most likely be ko'd.

Joyce is a miles better boxer than Dubois. But Dubois has power. It's an interesting match-up.

I'm still amazed that Warren found a Japanese heavyweight. Not only that, he sold him. Some people will buy anything with lacquer on it.

Great, this is needed!!! Prospects have to fight to select those for title bouts. Unfortunately AJ won't fight any of theese.
