I doubt it was Davison's fault Fury boxed so poorly against Wallin. Just like I doubt it was him who made Fury do so well against Wilder.

Soon as a boxer has a bad fight they blame their trainer.

In the first Ruiz fight. AJ was making basic errors. And poor choices. It wasn't his trainers fault

Agree 100%. It's not Davison's fault for Wallin but I always wondered why Davison had Fury back off Wilder in those instances where he clearly had Wilder backing up. Simalar to Freddie Roach I thought Fury should have knocked Wilder down in that fight, it was there but the strategy wasn't. Davison gets Fury in shape and keeps him together mentally but I don't think you can only have a plan A in the rematch. Wilder will be ready for a track meet and Fury will need a strategy, a plan B and a corner with more depth and knowledge.

For the record, I may be in the minority but I still believe it was Andy's lack of strategy that doomed his rematch. Everyone points to his weight but in actuality he was still fast and fighting hard all 12 rounds, it wasn't a stamina issue. Andy's size presented poor optics and a convenient scapegoat but even lighter with great training the outcome was going to be the same. Andy simply couldn't adjust, he had no other strategy.

Only time will tell how good the young boy is at his job , and if he is respected enough to be taken on by any high profile talented fighters . If he isn't you have your answer , if he is you will get an answer in due course.

Ruiz Junior did not need another strategic, he just needed to do? What he was doing much better, but he was unable to achieve this due to his preparation. Anthony Joshua has not solved Andy Ruiz Junior, if there was a third fight? It would be a 50/50 fight again.
