  • Comments Thread For: Jose Ramirez: In Due Time, I'll Be Happy To Fight Crawford

NEW YORK The more people ask Jose Ramirez about boxing Terence Crawford, the more convinced Ramirez becomes that they're destined to fight. Ramirez still wants to face Josh Taylor to determine complete supremacy in the 140-pound division. If promotional and/or network and streaming affiliations prevent that fight from occurring, however, Ramirez would welcome a showdown with Crawford sooner rather than later.

Terence is a small WW. Ramirez is a big Jr. WW.
Weight should not be a factor.

Ramirez should pick up a few "easy" paychecks before rolling the dice with TC.

Would be a great fight if Ramirez can become undisputed at 140 first. If he does, it means he would have unified twice and taken the zeroes from Hooker and Taylor. It would be a top level fight for Crawford but things would have to fall a certain way for this to happen because Ramirez would be an underdog against Taylor. If Ramirez came through, I'd put him on the level of a Danny Garcia at WW. Only behind Crawford, Spence, Pacquiao, and Porter at WW. I don't rank Thurman because he doesn't fight anymore.

What a clown, i respect him for his unification win, but you ducked Progais everybody knows thats no mention of fighting Josh Taylor just Like Gilberto Ramierez ducked the super-middleweight super series fear of losing and biggest win to date is against Arthur Arbrham

TC isn't a small WW. He walks around at about 170lbs give or take. He's a normal sized Welterweight. Pacquiao, Broner, Mikey Garcia.. those are small welterweights

Hard to believe he walks around at 170lbs. But that is neither here nor there.

I still see him as a small WW.
My point still remains that size should not be much of a factor between him and Ramirez.

You can see him as you like but the fact of the matter remains TC is not a small welterweight under any circumstance. He is a normal sized. As you can see here even at 177 he still maintains his slender frame without much fat.

Everybody knows Ramirez is not a small JWW but he seems to dispute that himself obviously.
