Comments Thread For: Arum Doubts Spence Will Return 'In The Foreseeable Future'

Bob Arum doesn't consider Terence Crawford-Errol Spence Jr. a fight that finally could occur in 2020 or even in 2021. Based on what Arum has been told recently regarding Spence's recovery from injuries suffered during a car accident in October, Crawford's promoter suspects Spence won't be physically ready to return to the ring anytime soon. Spence, of DeSoto, Texas, hasn't offered any updates on how he's healing from injuries incurred when he crashed his Ferrari in the early-morning hours of October 10 in downtown Dallas.

Abdukahorov-Lipinets will be for the full 147lb IBF world title, when Spence returns he'll be most likely fighting at 154, 147 is over for him, too much of work to do

Crawford vs. Porter would be a great fight! Make that happen!

Spence should be Champ in Recess so Crawford can get one of those bests. Something has to be done. There is no reason why we as fans can't see Crawford go for a 2nd undisputed. PBC WelterWaits are worthless.

Bob does have connections like that! Sad to hear that. Get well Champ! Very surprised Arum hasn't made a play for "Boots" Ennis! Boots would be a very good opponent for Crawford in 2020! I think he's more ready for Bud than Vergil Ortiz Jr., Ramirez, and Prograis!

Haymon does not want to sacrifice Porter to Crawford because he knows it will be a one sided domination win for Bud. Forget about Porter or any PBC (Pretender Blevel counterfeits) daring to be great to face Bud.

Spence should be stripped of hes title so others get a chance. It wasnt an accident that happened to him it was an accident he caused through law breaking. Hes got a big enough name to get a shot when hes ready to come back.

Not sure why anyone would think that Spence would be back in the ring any time soon or in the "foreseeable future" as stated. The man hand his face bounce off the pavement a couple/few times. Some of these UK blowhards can go back to their wanker jobs and be fine after a few weeks. However, a fighter must take a lot of time to ensure the brain is ready to go out there and absorb blows. i don't think he surfaces to show his face until some of the scars start to darken and fill in and that could take another month or two.

There's a such thing as being nice and nasty

Bob, is approaching 90 years old and still dropping nasty threads, go sit Y.A.D. I pray that the Spence family and Errol are recovering with immeasurable, unbelievable speed despite what doctors or the human eye can perceive.

I dont understand all the secrecy. Spence should come out and let his fans know what's wrong with him.
