Comments Thread For: Tim Tszyu Stops Jack Brubaker In Four, Eyes Title Fight In 2020

Tim Tszyu took a major leap forward in transitioning from promising prospect to rising contender. The second-generation boxer from Sydney, Australia delivered perhaps his most complete performance to date, overwhelming countryman Jack Brubaker in a 4th round stoppage victory in their regional junior middleweight title fight Friday evening at the ICC Exhibition Centre in Sydney.

Props Tszyu! I can only hope he has half of that devastating right hand his dad did. If that's the case, he seems to be filling out into a complete fighter. Only 25 and getting it all together. Great!! At half of what his dad brought into the ring would be enough to get rid of both so called p4p jokes in the welterweight division. But now these guys don't need to risk those undeserving titles so they can keep on pretending. Benefits of todays coddling era.
Best of luck Tim Tszyu! Keep it old school..

Dude is an absolute physical clone of his old man. The resemblance is truly uncanny.

        Killers await tszyu

Unco brubaker was able to land ..what are the killers of the division going to do, team tszyu better pick there mark in a world title fight, fight a weaker champ or for a lessor belt, at no point could he beat the likes of a charlo twin
… but hes looking fantastic all the same and will easily clean out any one in australia

The problem for Tim2 is that so far he has weak opposition by world standards, he is doing all the right things to advance his career, his dedication can't be faulted. But he needs tougher competition. There is still talk of him fighting Horn next year which would be a good test, until then I'm sitting on the fence about Tim2.
