  • Comments Thread For: Eubank: I'll Do What Charlo Couldn't Do, Stop Korobov!

NEW YORK Matt Korobov's closing statement wasn't exactly subtle Thursday. When the Russian southpaw concluded his remarks during a press conference by stating, "I hope it's a good decision," Korobov obviously referred to his unanimous-decision defeat to Jermall Charlo last December 22 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Charlo sat barely a few feet away from Korobov, who gave Charlo one of the toughest fights of his career, despite that one judge absurdly scored 11 of those 12 rounds for Charlo.

That would be a terrible look for Charlo if Eubank does stop korobov or even beats him convincingly.

Eubank jr can definitely ko Korobov specially by looking at Korobov last fight when he gassed out in a 10 rounder against lesser opposition

Don't worry about what Charlo couldn't do...

Do what you couldn't do...and that's beat a legitimate contender. Even though Korobov is a bit worn and battle scarred, he can still fight...

Dude you just need to win don't even worry about going for the KO. If the knockout comes take advantage of it other than that just focus on executing the gameplan.

          P.S.

Korobov is skilled, he outboxed Charlo who is a good boxer himself. Eubank is not that good a boxer, youth may beat experience.

I hope he does because it could set up a Charlo Eubank fight and that's pretty good. Eubank does ir on volume, hes got a great engine, and Korobov is getting old and has alot more wear and tear.

Eubanks chin looks pretty solid, Groves can hit.

Eubank is a duche bag but he's talented and if weight isn't an issue he'll stop Korobov
