His recent win over Brandon Adams this past June marked the first time that Jermall Charlo was able to enjoy a true hometown fight in more than seven years. As it remains unclear when the next opportunity will come to fight in the greater Houston area, the unbeaten middleweight titlist will gladly settle for continuing to build a fan base in his adopted home region.

Apparently Brooklyn doesn't love him back. They scaled the arena way down and priced tickets at $35 and still virtually no interest. At least it's not as embarrassing as Jermalla Charlo's fight in Cali where they had to scale down even more and have started slashing prices to $15.

Charlo is a world class fighter, though not near Thomas Hearns level, whose hitman nickname he uses. I hope he gets a fight against Canelo or Golovkin, but Hogan awaits. Hogan arguably beat Munguia, who was exposed in that fight.
