Teixeira has been with GBP for a while now so I could see why Oscar is so happy.

Can’t fault Oscar for being proud of one of his fighters. I mean Golden Boy’s stable was 0-2 against Top Rank’s the last 2 months in Championship fights. First Shakur embarrasses Gonzalez then Herring beats Roach in a tough fight. Going in Teixera was a big underdog but the dude showed a Champion’s heart after being bloody in the mid rounds it was a well deserve W for him an extremely pleased that Top Rank didn’t find away of robbing the dude.

That’s nonsense, Teixera lost to Curtis Stevens before yet Golden Boy kept him on their stable. Also, Roach and Gonzalez are still with Golden Boy after their losses only difference between them and Cancio is that they didn’t cry to the LAtimes about not being promoted properly and throw shade @ the hand that feeds him.

Curtis been a seasoned Middleweight. A bit too heavy handed for Teixeira at the time, perhaps still.

He avoided the garbage truck for now and should give Oscar good business to keep on doing so.
