Comments Thread For: Julian Williams: Fans, General Public Confused By Countless Titles

He's one of the ***els in the PBC's crown and the unified IBO, IBF and WBA super-welterweight world champion; he's Philadelphia's own, Julian 'J-rock' Williams. He's humble despite his lofty status as unified world champion and remains as hungry as a young contender. It's unlikely he'll take any opponent lightly and that's the imposing challenge that lies ahead for Jeison Rosario when he challenges 'J-rock' for his world titles on January 18th.

Mannn boxing kinda sucks now but at least there are some real fighters left like Julian Williams. I love watching him fight. It’s old school

It’s clear that PBC and FOX are going to go the route of a unified PBC belt. The rejection of the WBO belt was obviously a harbinger of things to come as was the initial 2015 launch of PBC when ZERO belts were mentioned on the program

The WBO belt has always been the less prestigious of the belts since its existence. It’s a dumpster belt.

J-Rock is as real as they come these days. I think he and Breadman are a dynamic duo with a helluva mindset and a a lot of knowledge and skill. I’ve always admired both men

I view the WBO belt as a Top Rank affiliation. They seem to wind up together. 🧐 hmmmm

Crazy the guy he’s fighting is getting a title shot. He hasn’t beaten anyone good to deserve it. He had a SD with a guy Charlo blasted out with ease.

J-Rock is the man! Love his outspoken views on PED’s, titles etc.

He should vacate the IBO though, that’s not a legit world title either.

Back when Williams was unknown I used to make threads about him and I believe you were one of the very few posters who recognized and acknowledged his potential.

At first he reminded me of a young Bernard Hopkins and the more I watch him, he is like those boxer punchers from the 80s. I get the old school vibe from him.
