Comments Thread For: Gamboa Vows: The Gervonta Davis Fight Will Be a Great War!

Yuriorkis Gamboa isn't still hanging around just to hear tales of the boxer he used to be, but rather the great fighter he can still become. Few are giving the Cuban export any shot at pulling off an upset in his upcoming vacant title fight versus Gervonta Tank' Davis (22-0, 21KOs), a now former two-time 130-pound titlist who aspires to become a two-division title claimant. The opportunity to achieve that goal at the tender age of 25 will come in their Dec. 28 Showtime-televised headliner, live from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

No way Gamboa said, “No pun intended.” He doesn’t know what a pun is. Lol

Anyway, I’ll be impressed if Yuri sees the final bell in this one.

Typical showcase Pbc mismatch for Tank...should not take long for Davis to connect on old weak-chinned Gamboa!

My grandma could prove herself against Roman Martinez at this stage of his 2nd retirement.

Gamboa is old, he will get knocked out in 7 unless Davis is even worse than I think of him.

some fans don't like to actually watch the fights. The are happy with hypothetical match ups. This way that can pick the winner and they is it.
