I agreed with your father until the weight gain.
Ruiz stood toe to toe and dominated AJ with counters and timing. It wasn’t a lucky shot or fluke he beat AJ that night.
15 pound weight gain is disgraceful. Bottom line Ruiz didn’t train as hard and enjoyed the good life way too much. Going against a puncher as dangerous as Joshua is not a fight you take lightly fighting heavy.

If there's a man out there dumb enough to bet $80,000 on this fight he deserves to lose. Too many things can decide the outcome of a boxing match, especially at HW. Bad cuts, dislocated shoulders, knee injuries, ankle injuries etc, we've all seen these things down the years.
