I still don't know how somebody throws a fight by being brutally knocked out

Yes I am a big Kovalev fan, and I am pissed off at him for doing a money grab. I was hoping for more from him.Comment

Shut up you worthless piece of amphibian shet!Kovalev didn’t give a shit. That’s why he was so casual in the post fight interview, and that’s why he didn’t throw any power jabs. Wether he was still drained from the Yarde fight, or wether he just didn’t care and took a paycheck, it does not change how he was. He was holding back, especially when he had Canelo somewhat hurt. If you guys think Kovalev gave his all in that fight, you guys are delusional.Comment

Now , this I can agree with
But all the fughin bullchit over throwing the fight is just grown men having a hard time accepting an L
Although the rest of us knew it was coming
I was actually impressed that Kovi lasted as long as he did in the fightComment

Agreed! All of this conspiracy fight throwing BS pisses me off.
There’s no way anyone could have bought Kovalev because if he won, he makes way more money in the immediate future than could be offered. He’s also a professional athlete who cares more about his pride than a few extra bucks.
I get so tired of wild conspiracy theories, however especially where boxing and throwing fights comes into play. We have a very finite time on this planet and of course people should do what makes them happy, but damn there is so much more you can do with your time. Kovalev was knocked out, completely senseless - people can die from these kind of knockouts. Yet somehow we have people legitimately thinking and exploring the idea of it being staged.Comment
