Shannon Briggs has taken his "Let's Go Champ" chant to another level. The former WBO heavyweight champion claimed in an interview with Sky Sports that Logan Paul could contend for "a real title shot" within three to five years. According to Briggs, who has trained Paul for his rematch against KSI on Saturday night, Paul plans to continue his boxing career after defeating his rival in their main event at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

This one isn’t rocket science. Briggs is probably pretty broke and has a nice little gravy train going, being on camera and and getting his 5-10 percent of a large purse.

He’ll say what he has to, to give himself the best chance of keeping the gravy train going. Briggs isn’t ****** he knows this kid won’t be heavyweight champ.
