Can anyone name 1 clear round/the clearest round for Canelo in either GGG fight?

I ask this question not really to troll...but just to see what round(s) people here felt Canelo won the cleanest in those 2 fights...I have watched each a number of times, and I have to be honest, I have never come away from a round saying 'that was a clear round for Canelo.'

GGG is just too active imo most rounds and the punch stats basically back that up...Canelo (especially in fight 2) made a lot of rounds competitive because his best shots were seemingly equal to or better than GGG's in the round, even if GGG landed a few more shots.

I always have it 4-2 after 6 in fight 1...and always give GGG 7-9...in fight 2, the first 3 rounds are tight, and always have it 2-2 basically...I always give GGG 5, 9, 10 and 11.

So yeah curious as to which clear/great rounds Canelo had in those fights...I have never really understood the argument that Nelo won more than 5 rounds in either fight, I think 4 was really very fair to him even in fight 1...and with no clear rounds in either one, I think that kind of backs that up in a way.

I don't think most hardcores do round by round or even score. Maybe some are interested in those kinds of things.

Watching it live, without scoring, I had Canelo winning both fights. The second fight wasn't that close.

It’s my Friday so I might take you up on your request. But then again, I don’t think my opinion matters because I look at fights differently than a lot of posters here. As we already discussed this in another thread, I look for who is landing the more meaningful punches per round, in more rounds. Imo they were even in the first fight and then the second fight was clear for Canelo. I’d have to rewatch both in order to see what were the clear rounds for Canelo. But again, all that would do is cause more arguing for people who prefer jabs over power punching.

Bro..how can you even say that...I like you lol, you know that...but you have to score fights to really have a firm opinion on who won/lost

So you don't have 1 then...Half of the threads on here are about Canelo/GGG...I think everyone cares...I bet if I go through your last 10 posts before this one, half are about Canelo or GGG.

Actually all of your posts are about Canelo, so I underestimated you there

Does that really make sense to you?

I mean I like going back and watching/scoring good fights sometimes...and I certainly would take anyone seriously that puts the time in like that to break down what they see...but yeah I would just say that I am not really scoring GGG's jab as much as I am scoring what I see to be a good solid punch from him...if it happens to be a jab, so be it...but all I see is an arm flying, where it connects, and how good of a shot it appears to be.

But you have to care about the damage/hurt the punch is putting on the other guy.

People were scoring weak jabs that were mostly hitting gloves in Canelo vs Kovalev. A lot of people were saying 7-3 Kovalev. Which is scary. They also turned around and said the fight was fixed because there was nothing behind Kovalev’s jabs. But then they gave him the rounds even though Canelo was outlanding him with better punches.

You can’t just give rounds to a fighter even for meaningless punches that are being thrown defensively more than anything. Being thrown with no conviction. Just trying to score points like an amateur. This is pro boxing. You have to land meaningful punches alongside your jabs.
