He was fighting better guys before he became champion. The protection kicked in even if he doesn't need it. He already makes people look bad, but now that he's champion, they look bad before he fights them.

two. one of em was dogboe, who, at least until vaquero got him, was bad AF. they seem to me to be stay busy fights, but i agree enough is enough. wonder whats up with gettin in the ring with vargas and the rest, other top guys.
