When will Canelo face a top fighter in his prime?

Like never. Kov took the cash grab and will retire or get retired. Canelo only fights the weakest “big names” in the divisions above mw.

If Canelo is so great after defeating (by ko) kovo and fielding in higher weight divisions, then why dont he go back to mw and end the GGG trilogy once and for all,.....because he cant clearly defeat the top mw Golovkin,...who we are all constantly reminded is past his prime. Weak look for the ped cheat.

Ok, he was supossed to win by decision, but man KOing Kovalev that way just make it a great feat.
Im not a Canelo fan, but man after that its impossible not to praise him.
              Just enjoy boxing dude.
Golovkin trilogy should be one of the things people should ask next. If you think about this fight, you wonder how a guy from two weight classes below was a way harder fight for Canelo. And people was considering Kovalev to be a better fighter than Golovkin.... Well there you have it.

I'm glad that you've acknowledge this point because most Canelo fans do not. I think it's awfully courageous of you to even admit that Kovalev is diminished and is actually closer to retirement.

It's something that he should think long and hard about because the longer he fights the greater are his chances of getting seriously hurt.
