    Manchester Arena - In her first bout at super lightweight, Katie Taylor (15-0, 6 KOs) outboxed Christina Linardatou (12-2, 6 KOs) to secure a ten round unanimous decision, becoming a two-division champion by capturing the WBO super lightweight title. The scores were 96-94, 97-93, 97-93.

      That was a draw and Taylor is a fraud. She’s nothing special at all.

        Good win for Taylor but she really has to rematch persoon, that was a dodgy decision.

          After this fight and the Pearson fight prior, I have no doubt that Braukeus beats Taylor and Serrano stops her.

              Had it 96-94 Taylor. I had Persoon beating Taylor 97-93. I actually think Taylor is very limited. She just constantly back peddles and then throws a couple of counter flurries, and very occasionally mixes it inside for a few punches then gets back on her bike; rinse and repeat.

              She gets away with this in women's boxing as few female boxers have the ability to close the distance well enough to catch up with track-runner Taylor. Persoon beats her again in rematch and I think Serrano batters her.

                Excellent and intelligent performance from Katie. She deserves all the congratulations and respect in the world for out boxing such a strong and powerful opponent.
