RENO, Nevada Mikaela Mayer finally got the stoppage Saturday night that she sought for more than a year. The 2016 U.S. Olympian knocked down Alejandra Zamora in the first round and dominated her over the ensuing five rounds. After another lopsided two-minute period in the sixth, Zamora's trainer decided she shouldn't continue and instructed referee Russell Mora to stop their scheduled 10-round, super featherweight fight at Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
