Comments Thread For: Derek Chisora Stops David Price in Fourth as Towel Comes In

O2 Arena, London - It wasn't the original opponent Dereck Chisora wanted to beat in his forty-first career fight, but he got the job done regardless in an all-British heavyweight encounter against David Price. Chisora (32-9, 23 KOs) scrambled the senses of Price (25-7, 20 KOs) with a right hand to the top of the head and scored a fourth round technical knockout win Saturday when Price's corner threw in the towel at the two-minute mark. It was the co-main event attraction to the super lightweight unification bout between Josh Taylor and Regis Prograis at the O2 Arena in London.

all that reach advantage, and Price barely jabbed. thats why he lost, right from the start.

Towel saved Price from any unnecessary brain damage in retirement. Last thing boxing needs is another death so good job on Price's corner.

Didn't like the multiple low blows by Chisora but he looks capable of giving the top dawgs a heck of a workout. Haye seems to have him in top shape.

Chisora's approach was super obvious but Price just lacked the composure to counter punch. He landed a lovely uppercut after the bell in the third that hurt Delboy and that really should have been the blueprint but Price couldn't pull it off.

Price had much potential for Career, BUT...

David Price never learned to fight tall.

Who in the world would train him to fight the way that he does with all of his height advantages?

                  A Heavyweight Champion if he:
                  1) Stayed in top physical condition. Run daily.
                  2) Fight TALL - Style exactly after Lennox Lewis, Klitschko, etc.

David Price would have been an undefeated Heavyweight Champion of the world. Instead, he is a loser.

                  Sad.
