Anthony Fowler has been handed an opponent ahead of his return. The 28-year-old is returning to super-welterweight next month on a world title undercard. Fowler, who stepped up to middleweight back in August to outpoint Brian Rose to win the vacant WBO Inter-Continental title, suffered his first defeat earlier this year when he was dropped en route to losing a points decision against his fellow Commonwealth Games gold medallist Scott Fitzgerald at the M&S Bank Arena.
