Olympic gold medal winner Alexander Povetkin and his handlers have reached an agreement to face Michael Hunter, according to Povetkin's promoter Andrei Ryabinsky of World of Boxing. The bout agreement has yet to be signed, but Ryabinsky does not expect any issues in wrapping the deal up.

Good fight...will tell us whether Povetkin is done, and if Hunter is maybe ready to compete on the top level...haven't seen all of Usyk's fights but I thought Hunter fought him as well as anyone I've seen

Good scrap! Looking forward to this one. Hunter is a bold fella; walks the talk. I'll pick him over many so-called giants. Dude is already making a mockery of all those who still have reservations over Usyk's move up. Kuzmin is noted for his heavy hands. We all saw how that one went. Let's see how he handles yet another puncher.
